Getting started in four steps

1. Install the app

Download Practicing Presence free from the App Store (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play (Android). No account or sign-up is needed — the app is ready the moment it opens.

2. Set your reminder window

On first launch, choose a start and end time (for example, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm). During that window the app offers gentle hourly invitations to pause for three conscious breaths.

3. Begin with the Morning Practice

Choose 10, 15, or 20 minutes — or open-ended. Rest a hand on your heart, follow the gentle audio guidance, and begin the day in stillness.

4. Return through the day

When a reminder arrives, take three conscious breaths (or more). In the evening, sit with the Three Questions to notice where you were present.
