Privacy

Last updated 9 October 2026

Practicing Presence was built to be quiet — in every sense. Here is plainly what that means for your privacy.

This website (practicingpresence.app)

  • This is a static informational site. It has no user accounts and no forms.
  • It sets no cookies and runs no advertising, retargeting, session-replay or fingerprinting scripts. We do not sell or share personal information, and no one pays us for data about visitors.
  • If you use the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the next page remembers it. It never leaves your device.
  • Hosting. The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles each request — your IP address, the page asked for, your browser’s name and the referring site — to deliver the page and protect the site from attacks, and gives us traffic statistics as totals (requests by page, country and browser). We don’t receive a record of individual visitors.
  • Analytics. To learn which pages are useful, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without fingerprinting or following you across sites. It records the page visited, the referring site, your browser, operating system, device type and country, and how quickly the page loaded, and reports them to us only as totals. Cloudflare processes this on our behalf.
  • Your privacy signals are honored. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, no analytics script is loaded for you at all.
  • Tutorial videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube receives no cookie data from your visit unless you press play; if you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
  • Links to the App Store, Google Play, Amazon, and affiliated sites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

The Practicing Presence app

  • The app is 100% free, with no advertisements and no in-app purchases.
  • No account or sign-up is required, and the app never asks for your name, email, or any personal profile.
  • Your notification preferences (reminder start and end times) are stored on your device.
  • Like most apps, it may use standard, anonymized crash and diagnostic reporting so problems can be found and fixed. For the authoritative, current data-practice disclosures, see the app’s App Store listing and Google Play listing.
